The cast of Jeezy’s Juke Joint returns to The Promontory in Hyde Park this fall with a sexy raging banger of a party! Part burlesque show, part dance party, Jeez Loueez is bringing a sickening cast of entertainers including JJJ cast members and friends. Dynamic pop-up performances will be scattered throughout the evening while hot gogo dancers keep the stage burning all night.Back from the West Coast, DJ Maewest starts the night out with house hits designed for dancing. Once we get warmed up Chicago’s premier queer queen DJ All the Way Kay keeps it going!

The fourth iteration of Jeezy’s Juke Joint: A Black Burly-Q Review, produced by Jeez Loueez, is coming back to its Chicago roots after a brief relocation to St. Louis. Featuring an award-winning cast of black burlesque dancers, drag, comedy, and performance artists, the show will be held at the Promontory on May 2nd and 3rd. Jeezy’s Juke Joint is an onion of a burlesque show, queerly peeling back layer upon layer of oppression and erasure by creating space for important and difficult dialogue about the intersections of race, class, gender, and sexuality….
