Hot off the heels of their 5th annual weekender in Chicago, Jeez Loueez, “The Powerhouse of the Midwest“, is proud to announce the return of Jeezy’s Juke Joint: A Black Burly-Q Revue to St. Louis April 9th! And thhis jumping, jiving, foot-stomping revue is back for one night only at 2720 Cherokee. Paying homage to the incredible Black stars of burlesque, the fabulous line-up of award-winning entertainment ranges from classic striptease to thought-provoking theater to drag.
With deep rooted ties in blues, jazz, and ragtime music, and home to such influential artists like Josephine Baker, Scott Joplin, and Tina Turner, St. Louis has a rich and thriving African-American history. Jeezy’s Juke Joint brings even more fabulous diversity and fierce new flavor to the already vibrant burlesque scene in St. Louis and Cherokee Street.
